Level 2 written verification from the university
The strongest everyday proof: the university itself confirms in writing that the certificate was issued by it and that the details match its records.

What “Level 2” means
A basic check only looks at the document. Level 2 goes to the source: we send a formal verification request to the university’s examination, registrar or verification section and obtain its written reply, on letterhead or from an official university email address.
That written reply is the evidence. Your FACTS report records what the university confirmed, the reference number, the date, and our result.
What is checked
- Name of the student as recorded by the university
- Registration or enrolment number
- Course, specialisation and year of passing
- Marks or class, where the university confirms them
- Whether the certificate number and format match what the university issued
Who it is for
- Students and professionals applying for jobs in India or abroad
- Employers and background-screening companies
- Embassies, licensing bodies and recruitment agencies that ask for university confirmation
- Anyone who wants a definite answer on whether a degree is genuine

Questions about level 2 written verification
Why does the university need my signed authorisation?
Universities only share a student's records with consent. The signed verification authorisation form (VAF) gives that consent, which is why it is mandatory before we can give a result.
Does the university charge a fee?
Some universities charge a verification fee. We tell you if your university does and include it in the quote before you pay.
What if the university does not reply?
We follow up, and where possible escalate to an in-person visit or, for government universities, an RTI application. If no confirmation is possible, the result is Orange with the reason explained.
Tell us the university and the purpose. We reply with the right route.
Send a photo of the certificate on WhatsApp. No obligation, no automated bots.
